Hello, I'm Jade!

Hi, I’m Jade (she/her). 

I'm here to tell your life and love story through my lens! I love connecting with people and learning what makes them who they are as people and as a couple/family and capturing that in their photos. My favourite captures will always be the true candid photos full of any type of emotion!

As a dedicated and passionate photographer, I'm committed to working closely with my clients to understand exactly what they're looking for, then capturing the perfect moments. I'm constantly looking for new moments to capture on camera. Since beginning my professional journey, I've worked on many different types of projects that have expanded my experience and added to my portfolio.

My photography journey started as a teenager in high school. I took a photography course and fell in love with authentic, emotion based photography. During my high school years I ran the year book for 2 years before graduating. 

During college my passion for photography was still very prevalent in my life and you could always catch me photographing sporting events!

Shortly after college I decided I wanted to start a photography business. With a massive amount of support from my friends and family I jumped in with both feet and started Jade Lines Photography.

In 2015 I shot my first event as a new business (a friends graduation) and since then it has been nonstop!

2015 and '16 saw lots of growth and annoying my friends and family with constant photoshoots to practice new skills and techniques I'd learned.

The end of 2017 saw me photographing my first 2 weddings (which I swore I'd never do! lol).

2018 was a ground breaking year for me which saw me experiencing TONS of new things including; births, boudoir, cake smash, newborn and mini sessions for the first time, opening a studio and attending workshops! 

And then 2019 happened, the year that I found myself as a photographer! 2019 solidified all the things I had already known about myself as a photographer, I am a natural light photographer who loves capturing authentic and genuine moments of love! With my editing focusing on muted, neutral, earthy tones! ​

Since then I have enjoyed growing my business, meeting tons of amazing clients turned friends and being able to document some of life's most precious moments!

In my free time I LOVE being outdoors! Hiking, kayaking, fishing, anything that gets me outside with the fresh air and sunshine! I am a huge animal lover! I have 1 dog, 3 cats, a rabbit and a fish named Leroy! I love taking road trips at every opportunity and singing in my car is my favourite pastime!​
